If learning feels harder than it should…
This challenge is for you.
You’re doing “all the right things.”
You’ve tried strategies, tools, schedules, incentives, and accommodations.
How different would your classroom look if…

Your child shuts down, resists, or melts down

Writing and math feel exhausting instead of logical

Motivation disappears the moment pressure shows up

You’re told to push harder… when your gut says that’s wrong
You’re not failing.
You’re missing the order.
Learning doesn’t begin with output.
It begins with regulation, readiness, and meaning.
That’s what REWIRE™ teaches.

What Is the REWIRE Challenge?
REWIRE Thinking & Learning is a 5-day guided experience that helps you:

Understand why learning resistance happens

Decode what the nervous system is protecting

Stop mislabeling struggle as defiance or laziness

Learn how to restore readiness before pushing performance
This is not a behavior program.
This is not a curriculum.
This is not therapy.
It’s a brain-based education framework that changes how you see learning—so everything you do next finally works.

What Makes REWIRE Different?
Most programs ask:
“How do we get the child to comply?”
REWIRE asks:
“What is the brain protecting—and what does it need to feel safe enough to learn?”
Instead of:
Fixing behaviors
Chasing diagnoses
Forcing motivation
You learn to:
Read nervous system signals
Restore regulation first
Create conditions where learning sticks naturally
Safety is not the opposite of learning.
It is the condition that makes learning possible.
What You’ll Learn in the REWIRE Challenge…
Each session builds readiness for the next—so learning doesn’t collapse under pressure.

Decode the Regulation

Regulate Before Educate

Rhythm and Routine

Repair at the Root

Flow State Learning
The Big Picture…
By the end of the challenge, you won’t just know more—
You’ll see learning differently.

You’ll understand why struggle shows up

You’ll know what to address first

You’ll stop chasing tools that don’t work

You’ll recognize readiness when it appears

In case you don’t know me…
I'm Cheri Dotterer
An occupational therapist with over 30 years of experience studying how the brain, body, and nervous system impact learning. I’ve worked with families, educators, and learners who were doing everything “right” and still watching learning fall apart.
REWIRE™ grew out of that work. It’s a brain-based education framework designed to help you understand learning readiness—so struggle stops being mislabeled as laziness or defiance, and learning can happen in a way that actually sticks.

What people are saying about me…
Fabulous workshop!
Learning about the brain and all of the complex components that combine to enable a child to learn is fascinating. The more we understand, the better equipped we are to help children reach their full potential.
I was thoroughly intrigued by her research and connections because what she shared about dysgraphia described many of my students. I thought that dysgraphia was only related to difficulties with motor control, but I now learned that it encompasses so much more.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the REWIRE Thinking & Learning Challenge for?
This challenge is designed for parents, educators, therapists, and neurodivergent adults who want to better understand why learning struggles occur and what the brain needs to learn. You do not need a diagnosis, a specific role, or prior training to participate.
Is this challenge only for students with learning disabilities?
No. REWIRE is built around learning readiness, not labels. Many capable learners struggle because their nervous system is in protection mode—not because they lack ability. This framework applies broadly across learning differences and environments.
Is this a therapy or intervention program?
No. REWIRE is a brain-based education framework, not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment. It helps you understand how regulation, rhythm, and safety influence learning so you can make more informed decisions using the tools you already have.
Do I need to attend live, or are recordings available?
All sessions are recorded. You can participate live or watch the replays at your own pace. There is no penalty for falling behind and no required homework. Replays will be available for one week for general admission. VIP participants will have access to SKOOL.
Will this give me specific strategies or activities?
REWIRE focuses first on helping you understand what to address and when. Once readiness is restored, strategies naturally work better. This challenge is about changing the lens through which you approach learning.
Is this appropriate for different ages or learning environments?
Yes. Because REWIRE is based on nervous system function, it applies across ages and settings—home, classroom, therapy spaces, and personal learning.
What if I’m already overwhelmed or tired?
That’s exactly why this challenge exists. REWIRE is designed to reduce pressure, not add to it. You are not expected to fix everything, only to begin seeing learning more clearly.
What happens after the challenge ends?
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of learning readiness and how to recognize it. From there, you’ll be invited (not required) to continue learning through additional REWIRE resources.
